Sea para bien, enhorabuena sea,
divino Rojas, el recién nacido,
que tal hijo de ingenio ha merecido
que esculpido en mil láminas se vea.

Plega a los cielos que la excelsa idea
del Repúblico llegue el apellido
a donde desterrándose el olvido
de Dafne ingrata su laurel posea.

Ensancha, Manzanares, tus riberas,
donde tu nieto con amor recibas,
hijo de un hijo de ti margen bella.

Aquí viene a servirse muy de veras,
ampárale piadoso, así tú vivas
eternos años con feliz estrella.
