De estas lágrimas vivas derramadas,
en mi paciencia un tiempo detenidas,
hoy mis quejas se ven interrumpidas,
mas no con su razón acreditadas.

Aunque de más ofensas agraviadas,
no dirán que se dan por ofendidas;
porque ganan el nombre de sufridas,
no pierden el que tienen de calladas.

En manos del silencio me encomiendo,
por no perder lo que sufriendo callo
por lo que con mis lágrimas os digo.

Y tan lejos de vos quedo muriendo,
que aún engaños que hacerme ya no hallo,
y probar más remedios es castigo.
