Oh tú, que por dejar purificado
y libre al hombre de la eterna pena
en tu inocencia dio la culpa ajena
mano sangrienta a juez apasionado.
Perfecciona, Señor, ya que has lavado
en el ardiente influjo de tu vena
la mejor parte, y rompe la cadena
de propios yerros, ánimo alumbrado.
Sacar debe tu auxilio del abismo
de culpas un sujeto, cuyo olvido
tiene desmerecida tu memoria;
que la gracia la debes a ti mismo,
pues no debe el remedio ser perdido
que la pena formó para mi gloria.
