Digno construye a tu memoria nido,
no pompa vana, en vano mausoleo,
al cielo, si católico trofeo,
a mortales trabajos ofrecido.

En dos eternidades ya esculpido
a soberana luz tu nombre veo,
y en cerúleo papel impreso aun leo
tu incesable anhelar nunca perdido.

De sudar deje ya fecundo aroma
el que en remoto y no apartado clima
tu fatigar compadeció piadoso.

Claro, pues, vencedor mil palmas toma,
hoy que el sagrado cónclave te estima
más que digno del triunfo glorioso.
