Noche, por ser oscura, a amor propicia,
si acaso tus estrellas hechas ojos
vieran que un hombre roba mis despojos,
de aqueste yerro calla su justicia.
Cintia divina, así de la avaricia
de tu esposo Plutón y sus enojos,
libren los cielos tus cabellos rojos,
que calles si me roba el de Galicia.
Paredes altas, no digáis las quejas
que me hace dar el ciego amor que encierro
si acaso tenéis lengua como orejas.
Jardín, si de tus flores me destierro,
no lo digáis a nadie. Duras rejas
callad mis yerros, pues que yo soy hierro.
