A muchos les agrada el son mezclado
del sordo parche, y resonante trompa,
y a muchos ver, que el jabalí les rompa
la tres doblada red con diente airado.
Al labrador del trabajoso arado
no apartará la vagabunda pompa,
ni hay temor de borrasca que interrompa,
el curso al marinero ejercitado.
Acude todo instinto al ejercicio,
a que la estrella en que nació le influye,
y alcanza en el descanso y alegría;
de mí sólo que ha sido el duro oficio
de amar nací por suerte estrella mía,
el alegría y el descanso huye.
