Al campo Fénix vais, vais a la aldea,
para que esté cuando volváis difunto
pues si estuviere en la ciudad un punto,
de vos mi amor aborrecido vea.

Desde hoy (Bootes de esta luz) me emplea
amor al carro perezoso junto,
y sin dispensación mi dulce asunto,
azada, reja, y hoz, quiere que sea.

Viviré cuan gozoso, cuan ufano,
aunque en vez de escarpín, y guante estrecho
vejigas calce el pie, llagas la mano:

y si la llaga antigua de mi pecho
no tienen satisfecho a amor tirano,
quedará en las recientes satisfecho.
