Como tomáis la posesión ojuelos,
de tantas almas, que os están mirando,
montes vais de riqueza dilatando
sobre los más distantes paralelos.

En almas libres imponéis desvelos,
vuestros méritos dulces consultando,
elevación benigna, imperio blando
sobre los luminares de los cielos.

No alcanza más honor naturaleza,
que vos le dais, ni más amor decora,
armas para guardar su fortaleza,

ojuelos, mariposa me enamora,
ser en tanto fulgor, tanta belleza,
que un ver morir toda la vida honora.
