- LXXIV - Leandro
Leandro, el culto del galán vestido,
que sus trabados miembros bizarrea,
depone, y atrevido el pecho emplea
en las ondas del mar embravecido.
Un monte, y otro de agua, atrás vencido;
con otro lucha, que vencer desea,
mas ya, opreso, cansado, así vocea:
pidiendo al sordo mar, piadoso oído.
Ondas, si está mi muerte decretada
tened la ejecución mientras recibo,
el abrazo postrero de mi amada;
que si al partirme de él quedara vivo,
a la vuelta podréis de mi jornada,
ejecutar vuestro rigor esquivo.
