- XXXIII -
Este Real de amor desbaratado,
de rotas armas y despojos lleno,
aguda roca y mal seguro seno
de mi doliente espíritu cansado,
al enemigo vencedor amado
rendido francamente como bueno,
de mí le siento eternamente ajeno,
por verse de contrarios ocupado.
Y el tirano cruel de mi contento,
burladas mis antiguas confianzas,
los vencedores escuadrones sigue.
¿Quién podrá remediar mi perdimiento,
si faltan del amor las esperanzas,
y si quien amó tanto me persigue?
