Difunta al gusto ya, viva a la pena;
venturoso en su error por conocello;
fuentes sus luces que con curso bello
del rostro humedecían la azucena;

tempestuosa la faz, la alma serena;
embargados los pies, libre el cabello;
de vanidad desnudo el limpio cuello;
llora deidad la que encantó sirena.

Vanos aires dejando fugitiva
mar de diluvio es y en copia tanta
yerros deshace y sale de cautiva,

con llanto riega la más bella planta,
y si el peso de culpas la derriba
el aire de suspiros la levanta.
