Con tal fuerza y vigor son concertados
para mi perdición los duros vientos,
que cortaron mis tiernos pensamientos
luego que sobre mí fueron mostrados.

El mal es que me quedan los cuidados
en salvo de estos acontecimientos,
que son duros, y tienen fundamentos
en todos mis sentidos bien echados.

Aunque por otra parte no me duelo,
ya que el bien me dejó con su partida,
del grave mal que en mí está de contino;

antes con él me abrazo y me consuelo;
porque en proceso de tan dura vida
atajaré la guerra del camino.
