Para mí los overos y los bayos
nunca fueron ardientes resplandores,
sólo me libre Dios de los fulgores
de un blanco serafín con negros rayos.
Esta, pues, luz, anime los desmayos
que dan los, al mirar, ojos traidores,
flor que afrenta viva de las flores,
su boca es perlas y su aliento mayos.
Amor, abeja de esta primavera,
en dos labios libados mil claveles
queriendo fabricar rubios panales,
de que me da el amor alas de cera,
y ellas el nombre a un piélago de males,
que tiene amarga miel y dulces hieles.
