- CLXXV -
Pasé los golfos de un sufrir perdido,
y piélagos de ofensas he surcado,
de enemigos impulsos agitado,
de poderosas olas impedido.
Hoy, pues, menos quejoso que advertido,
de esperanzas las velas he animado,
y debo a mi noticia haber tomado
en mar de sinrazón puerto de olvido.
Donde ya en dar benéficos alientos
a la violenta fuerza me libraron
del tiempo airado y de contrarios vientos.
Ya engañosas sirenas me dejaron,
porque la falsa voz de sus acentos
mis diamantes iodos no escucharon.
