Voces mal admitidas de sirenas,
letargo envejecido de mil años,
torcer el rostro a vivos desengaños
y sólo apetecer injustas penas,
ya no más: la razón abrió mis venas
donde, convaleciente de sus daños,
fuerza de agravios, sinrazón de engaños,
muros pudo romper, abrir cadenas.
Costoso sí, mas advertido ejemplo,
mi yerro ofrece a los atentos ojos,
cuando a la luz de aviso me consagro,
la pared ilustrando al mejor templo,
escarmentadas quejas por despojos,
cuya tabla será el mismo milagro.
