Prestad, ninfas del Sena, atento iodo
a un firme corazón que pudo tanto
que traspasó las leyes del espanto
con dolor más grave y más sabido.
Allá, en lágrimas vivas convertido,
de mi podréis saber despacio cuanto
agora impide declarar el llanto,
con que va vuestro Sena tan crecido.
Dejando aquellas playas españolas,
dejando en ellas fui mis esperanzas,
y buscar vine en vos mi muerte a solas.
Con ella, allá daréis justas venganzas,
a quien me hizo roca de las olas,
que levantó la mar de unas mudanzas.
