Para dar ley al mundo, al mundo venga
el Atlante gentil, cuya corona
ceñirá todo el orbe como zona,
cuando una grey y un solo pastor tenga.

Y así, porque repare, y que detenga
la máquina eminente, a su persona
asistan las tres Gracias, y Belona
más de honor que de leche le mantenga.

Que con estos presagios su fortuna
saldrá de sí, añadiendo y conquistando
el poco mundo que le queda ajeno.

Y de tan ricas esperanzas lleno,
como sangre de Carlos y Fernando,
más que culebras vencerá en la cuna.
