El más que digno sucesor del claro
primer Fernando y Marte no segundo,
dado todo al dolor, negado al mundo,
Alba queda de un sol de luz avaro.
Extinto no, que, virtual su amparo,
astro ya fijo logra ardor fecundo,
cual, en flamantes plumas ya segundo
clima, viste inmortal volante raro.
Por estos grados, hoy, en la sublime
región empírea es alta moradora,
Fénix que nace, y sol eterno en ella;
rayo, pues, de su luz vital anime,
ya de horizonte interminable aurora,
el alba de quien fue tan digna estrella.
