De este eclipsado velo en tomo oscuro,
en sordas sombras de tristeza envuelto,
lo que fue corruptible está resuelto
y lo puro a buscado a lo más puro.
Donde pisando el cristalino muro,
de mortal peso ufanamente suelto,
a la causa primera sólo vuelto,
sumo y eterno bien goza seguro.
¡Oh espíritu feliz que, cuando imperios
mortales deja, alcanza eterno asiento
ante el fin verdadero de los fines!
A donde aprende en parte los misterios
con intérprete voz, con dulce acento
de incesable cantar de serafines.
