- LXVI -

Estos mis imposibles adorados,
con ser por imposibles conocidos,
tienen tan encantados mis sentidos,
que están de mis desdichas olvidados.
No porque ya no están asegurados
y en la fe que mantienen presumidos,
mas porque bienes nunca merecidos
quedan en presunción como gozados;
y así la fe que en tu razón espera
sufrir y padecer cuanto viniere
del peligroso estado de mi suerte,
hará que viva amor aunque yo muera
y vos iréis adonde el alma fuere,
que esto no me podrá quitar la muerte.
