- CXLVI -

A las undosas márgenes de un río
que en floridos cristales nace fuente,
solté quejosa voz tan dulcemente,
que alterno Filomena el canto mío.
Donde, si a tronco, si animado, pío
místico ya papel de simple gente,
impresas ansias de pasión ardiente,
con hierro duro en verde margen fío.
Ajena, pues, noticia, en mi escarmiento
del rigor de fortuna ejemplo lea,
si es aviso del tiempo el desengaño;
y en este descansado apartamiento,
feliz agrado a mis agravios sea
un temor advertido de su daño.
