Estas ruedas de amor que no suspenden
varios tormentos que causando ignoras,
si un tiempo indican con la mano y horas,
horas fatales de tu mano penden.
De cuya voluntad no se defienden
las penas que renuevas y mejoras,
atenta sólo al tiempo que empeoras
a los que, más rendidos, más te ofenden.
Tú, inexorable parca de las vidas,
con vulnífico fin los hilos corta
que están en lo profundo de tus ruedas,
y con piadosas manos homicidas
las vidas y tormento junto acorta,
si con último mal vengada quedas.
