faze por curso de tiempo señal,
a la rueda rodante la ventura
transmuda e troca el genio humanal.
Paces he visto apres gran rotura
atarde dura bien nin faze mal,
mas la mi pena jamás ha folgura
nin punto cesa mi largor mortal.
Por ventura dirás, ídola mía,
que a ti non place de mi perdimiento,
antes repruebas mi loca porfía.
Di, ¿qué faremos del ordenamiento
de amor, que priva toda señoría
e rige e manda nuestro entendimiento?
