- XXIX -
Buscan los enfermos santuario
con grand desseo e sedienta cura
o por lenguas vías y caminos varios,
temiendo el manto de la sepultura.
¿Son, si pensades, menores contrarios
los venéreos fuegos sin mesura,
nin los mis males menos adversarios
que la tisera de Antropos escura?
Pues, ¿quién podría o puede quietar
mis graves cuytas, mis penas, mis males,
sean por partes o siquiera en gros?
Nin Esculapio podría curar
los mis langores, tantos son e tales,
nin otro alguno, sinon 'Dios e vos'.
