Si don Alonso el Casto le viviera
a mi abuelo don Juan de Bobadilla,
y en las comunidades de Sevilla,
el Conde mi pariente no muriera.

Si doña Inés mi madre no perdiera
la hacienda que tuvo en esta villa,
tuviera en vuestra casa siempre silla,
el que ahora tratáis de esta manera.

Quererlo yo parece que bastara
si en vos hubiera algún conocimiento
para pagar en parte lo que os quiero.

Mostrad a mis pasiones mejor cara,
que si amándoos me dais desabrimiento
me enojaréis a fe de caballero.
