Salid el suelo lágrimas regando,
que cuanto más amargas y a porfía,
seréis más claro honor, más alegría,
a la alma triste que os está dictando.
La mancha veis de aquel mi error lavando,
y aun si dispensa la flaqueza mía
veréis (¡cuán dulce!) alguna noche, y día
manjar y lecho regalado y blando.
Seco mi Soto, abrojos inquietos,
en vez de fruto ostenta, en vez de flores
otra luz que examina sus secretos.
Fertilizad copiando mis dolores,
y aquellos miembros troncos imperfectos,
la fuerza mitigad de sus ardores.
