Bien venidos, seáis, rubios cabellos,
verde listón, seáis muy bien venido;
haya vuestro viaje sucedido
cual merecéis y cual merecen ellos.

Pues vistes, ay, aquellos ojos bellos,
luz objeto del sol esclarecido,
cómo quedan decid: sienta el oído,
pues que mis ojos no merecen vellos.

¿Se desatan en llanto, dulce suerte,
en esta ausencia que con sangre lloro?
Hablad, cabellos, pues de Fénix fuistes.

Muertos estáis, mas vuestro fin me advierte
en verde campo con señales de oro
que alegre los espere, aunque estén tristes.
