Entre la luz de tus serenos ojos
donde aprende la suya el Sol dorado,
entre las hebras del sutil trenzado,
que desdeñan del oro los manojos;
entre las perlas, los corales rojos;
entre la nieve, entre el color rosado;
entre el son de tu aliento regalado,
puso el término amor de mis enojos.
Y si hallarse dilatas mis entrañas
entre luz, oro, perlas, nieve, aliento,
según las llamas crecen ya tamañas,
las verás deshacerse en un momento,
cual suele al Sol la nieve en las montañas,
y tus ojos serán el instrumento.
