- LXXIX - Amor triunfa de Fénix

Saltó el amor por conseguir su intento
del jardín de mi Fénix el cercado,
y entre las flores con el arco armado
en forma se vistió de pensamiento.
Ella entraba con blando movimiento,
el cabello a la espalda derramado,
vestido el cuerpo de un cendal nevado,
que con los miembros, lo pegaba el viento.
Púsole al corazón la punta aguda,
y ella sobresaltada desmayose;
fue grande el golpe y la cogió desnuda.
Volvió al fin como pudo, y levantose
pidiendo a voces contra amor ayuda,
y él mirome, mirola, y sonriose.
