- XXV - Fénix, sol de amor

Con manos de oro la neutral cortina
corre el gran sumiller del cuarto cielo
y, descubriendo su esplendor al suelo,
las extranjeras formas avecina.
El vulgo todo de la luz se inclina,
cediendo a su mayor con santo celo,
que dar al sol la luz y al ave el vuelo
la justicia constante determina.
Sol es, Fénix, de amor vuestro semblante,
sol que dudas aclara y hermosea,
sol que forma los años del amante;
exhalación mi alma, que os desea
y por derecho natural constante
en vos la luz de vos por vos emplea.
