- LXVII - A dos palomas en su arrullo
Pájaros venturosos, que enlazados,
ya con los picos, ya con más estrecho
lazo, del uno el otro satisfecho
dulcemente vivís enamorados;
mostrad así os gocéis, los dos traslados
tiernos, de Fénix al rebelde pecho,
quizá con tanto ejemplo al blando lecho,
remitirá fatigas, y cuidados:
Y ciando no, sabrá, que el dolor mío
es natural, que su placer violento;
digno mi amor, indigno su destino.
Esto así, ya que a manos del tormento,
a que amor me destina (y dél me fío
¡Titano!) acabe, moriré contento.
