Ya dejé ya, tu vega amor tirano,
que el más robusto que mejor la escarba;
del rico Oroño en esperanza barba,
y se le pasa en flores el Verano.

Jamás del seco Estío el rubio grano,
ve recostarse en lisonjera parva,
antes mira su Invierno en blanca barba,
en sangre helada, y en cabello cano.

Ahora sí, que en temporal sereno
vino vecino al bien, al mal extraño;
alegre en ver al desdichado amante.

No porque gozo del ajeno daño;
no ya, si bien porque a tu engaño ajeno
labro en viña de frutos abundante.
