A la vida y costumbre de Nuestra Señora conforme San Epifanio

Vistió la humilde Virgen lino y lana,
honró en su estado al grande y al pequeño.
Ira, cólera o risa, ni por sueño
mostró tener, ni turbación humana.
De estatura de cuerpo fue mediana,
rubio el cabello, el color trigueño,
afilada nariz, rostro aguileño,
cifrado en él un alma humilde y llana.
Los ojos verdes de color de oliva,
la ceja negra, arqueada, hermosa,
la vista santa, penetrante y viva.
Labios y boca de purpúrea rosa,
con gracia en las palabras excesiva,
representando a Dios en cualquier cosa.
