Rosario soberano: mi esperanza
en vuestras cuentas tiene un firme estribo;
esclava fui del infernal cautivo,
un año ha que tomó de mí venganza.

Mucho os debo, mi Dios; en mucho alcanza
a mis pequeños gastos el recibo;
no saquéis mandamiento ejecutivo,
que yo os daré en Domingo una fianza.

Mas, Señor, si os agradan las migajas
de mi corto caudal, aunque son cosas
de pequeño valor y prendas bajas,

ejecutadlas y serán dichosas,
que si el mal pagador os paga en pajas,
aunque yo os pague mal, pagaré en rosas.
